High GWP refrigerants down in price
Prices for the high GWP gases/mixtures in Europe went down slightly in the second quarter of this year, compared with Q2/2024.

Trustee applications now closed

The Trust had an overwhelming response to our Call for new Trustees last month. We have received 41 applications for the two Trustee roles. Applications have now closed.
We thank everyone who has taken the time to apply. The quality was extremely high and as a result the process may take a little longer, but we are working towards making an announcement regarding the appointments early September.

NZETS settings and regulations updated
The Government has announced the number of units that will be available and price control limits for the NZ Emissions Trading Scheme auctions for the next five years as part of annual updates to the NZ ETS.
