Cool-Swap is Live!

2023-12-07

After a lot of work and plenty of planning, it's a real pleasure to announce that Cool-Swap has now launched.

We all know recovery cylinders have been in short supply over the past 12-24 months, so with the introduction of Cool-Swap, our cylinder-swapping initiative, we hope to alleviate some of that supply squeeze and give more people the opportunity to take part in our bounty buyback programme.

Cool-Swap is a refrigerant reclaim cylinder exchange service where you can request for a non-flammable empty reclaim cylinder to use, which you can then fill and return back to us. There are no costs for to use this service providing the bottle is returned with refrigerant every six months, so it really is a great opportunity to catch more recovered refrigerant.

Cool-Swap runs alongside our current Cool-Safe bounty programme, so you can still return your company owned reclaim cylinders. Both of the programmes are eligible for a payment of $25+GST per KG of refrigerant, which means that thanks to Cool-Swap, our bounty buyback programme is more accessible than ever.
To register for Cool-Swap simply go to our website, and under the Cool-Swap section, complete the registration process. After that, Maria will be in touch to arrange the new cylinder. Once it’s filled with refrigerant, simply return it to a Collection Site.

Cool-Swap has been a major project for us, and I'm incredibly pleased to see all the hard work come to fruition to bring more refrigerant in for destruction and give more technicians access to our bounty buyback.
