How bulk returns work

When you return more than 200kg of a single refrigerant, handling stays the same but the payment changes. Here's what you need to know:

Tiered incentives: Standard Refrigerant Buy-Back pays $40/kg + GST to your business for all eligible refrigerants, mixed or single, less than 200kgs.

If you have more than 200kg of a single refrigerant blend, Cool-Safe's Bulk Buy-Back rates apply. Get in touch for current per-kilo rates.

Market-linked pricing: Bulk rates move with carbon market pricing, so check current rates before booking your job.

Single-stream requirement: Bulk rates apply only to a single refrigerant stream over 200kg, not a combined total of different refrigerants across multiple cylinders.
