Have your say on the 2026 HVAC&R qualifications review
The Electrotechnology, Information Technology and Creative Industry Skills Board (ETITC ISB) is seeking feedback on their 2026 review of HVAC&R qualifications.
The Ministry for the Environment is seeking feedback on proposed measures to reduce the environmental impact of fluorinated gases (also known as F-gases or synthetic refrigerants).
Their plan proposes:
a regulated product stewardship scheme for refrigerants
prohibiting the import and sale of pre-charged equipment when alternatives are available, which is expected to happen over the next 10 years.
