We've got some great news! Cool-Safe’s refrigerant Bounty Buy-Back incentive has increased to $25/kg.
Our March 2023 refrigerant recovery reporting confirmed that the Bounty Buy-Back Programme launched in October 2022 has already made a fantastic impact. It's continuing to develop momentum with an increased volume of 50% for the cylinders returned and 59% for refrigerant recovered compared to October 2021 – March 2022.
Not only has your significant support of this Cool-Safe initiative had a positive effect environmentally, but you have earnt plenty of bounty payments in return.
Based on the success of that six month trial, we can announce that Cool-Safe is increasing its bounty payment from $15 to $25 (+GST) for each kg of mixed refrigerant recovered from 1 April 2023.
Your refrigerant can be dropped off to one of our Cool-Safe Collection sites or collected from your premises via our free courier service (contact Ben Fechney, our Collection Services Business Manager if you want to know more about this service. )
